For our Berlin HR team, responsible for Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA), we are looking, initially limited to 15 months starting July 2018 as a parental cover for an:

(Senior) HR Manager (f/m)

The HR team is responsible for all people related aspects of our organization and acts as strategic business partner for our business leaders. Our mission is to enable managers in taking the best possible care of their teams while making smart business decisions in a rapidly changing environment. To do so, we support our stakeholders with guidance, frameworks and consulting in all people-related matters. We also ensure smooth administrative processes, work closely with Office Services and foster initiatives around employee engagement. The region GSA is reporting to our Cluster Southern Wester Europe, Middle East and Africa (SWEMEA).

Just the right job for you:

  • Serve as the primary HR business partner with client responsibility in terms of general Human Resources Management
  • Ensure coordination of HR strategies and processes across the organization in close cooperation with our SWEMEA Headquarter, e.g. headcount planning & reporting and Learning & Development strategy
  • Manage all day-to-day HR issues or concerns, working directly with (senior) managers and employees to achieve resolutions
  • In close cooperation with SWEMEA HR, oversee and implement initiatives, tools and processes designed to improve performance, productivity, employee satisfaction and business results
  • Improve employer branding: increase visibility and activities of recruitment activities, attract and develop talent
  • Implement and coordinate organizational development and change initiatives in alignment with SWEMEA HR
  • Cooperate constructively and closely with our works council
  • Manage compensation and benefit processes and oversee the monthly payroll
  • Close cooperation with Office Services regarding health & safety measurements and duties

That’s why we want you:

  • Bachelor or master degree in human resources, organizational development, labor law or related area
  • At least 5 years professional experience in a generalist HR function, ideally in an international corporation
  • Extensive knowledge in all areas of modern human resource management (Change Management, Compensation and Benefits, German labor law, Learning & Development, Recruitment)
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence the environment and implement HR initiatives
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with senior management, supervisors and employees
  • Analytical thinking, solution oriented, clear and structured yet empathic communication style
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English as well as German
  • A team player with interest in our brands and a great sense of humor
