For our GSA Kids & Family Programming department in Berlin we are looking for a

                                                           Trainee Programming Nickelodeon (f/m)

                                                             limited to 18 months, start date March 2018

Just the right job for you:

  • Get insights and an overview of all aspects in the kids TV programming world
  • Assist the programming managers in their daily business
  • Update and maintain dubbing lists, channel plans, rotation lists and time-slots
  • Check logs for campaigns with great attention to detail (have all elements been scheduled?)
  • Assist programming managers with media planning and promo requesting
  • Help the team to keep avails lists and roll-out plans for our Content Distribution team up to date
  • Create monthly highlight sheets with TX dates and episode synopses
  • Work with other departments and handle their requests (i.e. about time-slots, premiere dates)
  • Get to know the daily tools for the Programming team and help updating and maintaining them (i.e. WON planning / exports, publishing in CMS tools etc.)
  • Take over research activities (market, special projects, competition)and present your findings
  • Bring in your own ideas and expectations

That's why we want you:

  • Relevant degree /apprenticeship or a combination of relevant skills & experience
  • High motivation, eager to learn new things
  • A strong affinity for our Nick target group and the German television market
  • Interest in understanding the new television and content landscape
  • Ideally first experience in content / media programming
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills that go along with strong organization skills
  • Written and spoken fluency in German and English
